DMX started rapping from the mid 1990s. In the month of May 1998, He released his first album, It's DARK and HELL IS HOT. DMX released other albums such as... And There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. He was nominated in 2001 for a Grammy Award for the Best Rap Album Category. His album titled...And then there was X. The success of his music was further enhanced with appearances in movies as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage - Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
