Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous as a character on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting from his days in school and then pursued acting studies in The University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies as well as on TV but it's the character actors on smaller screens that has earned him fame. He's been able to seamlessly play the roles of characters who are from both sides of law to grab an audience's interest. On his debut TV show where he played the character of a killer. Later, he was able to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. In recognition of his performance on the small screen, he's won several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most striking face features is thought to be the sharp blue eyes which have been instrumental in his portrayal of characters that appear rough and fascinating. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured his face.
